The latest news and a shockwave in the Internet world.Google Pagerank Downgrade Massacre!A large number of huge blogs and websites are being murdered alive by Google and their Pagerank were downgraded as quickly as you can say Google.Google Pagerank just for a recap,is so called the official indication of your blog or website link popularity.Well lets cut the lessons and have a look at who are affected.

What could have caused these massacre?
Here are some of the conspiracy theories and possible truth in this massacre
- These blogs and websites has turned into link farm (Whats that?I will talk more about it later).Link farm are simply a link dumping ground where tons of useless Pagerank 0 links are posted in them.
- Kumiko Suzuki says it could be the new algorithm ranking system known Trustrank as has been implemented by Google
- Etienne Teo also pointed out that this is due to Text Link Ads which is sort of like a competitor to Adsense.(Google thinks : Trying to play behind daddy's back hah)
Maki Maki say this.John Chow say this.They do not even give a damn to it.Look.No matter if you are sharing views and informations with your readers or monetizing your blog or website,there is only 1 thing that you must never aim to do.That is to decrease your traffic.If you are aiming to do that,you might as well dig a grave and bury your blog or website and quit using the Internet.No matter what,you wish to let others look at your creation and your informations that you share.So no traffic,your blog or website is simply dead.And that happens to one of my friend's website.Game,Set and Match!Poof!
But look!the list of affected blogs and websites are just increasing their traffic day by day and most are laughing their way to the banks!
Conclusion
Personally,I fully agree with them.I am still a Pagerank 0 but my traffic is definitely increasing.
Traffic is indeed King.Pagerank is just a webmaster fetish to show off their blogs or websites popularity to the world.But even how you link,Traffic still counts.Repeated Traffic that is.Pagerank is an OPTION and not a must.Traffic is not an option but a MUST!
So lets get on with life and start to generate traffic instead,lads!

I'm curious because in your post you write that you are a PR0, but my Google toolbar and SEOQuake bar both show you as a PR5! Did you miss that? Did it just come about as part of the recent algorithm change? If so then congrats are in order!

You can add www.sciscoop.com to your list, this site went from a PR7 a couple of weeks ago to a PR6 and is currently a PR4, hopefully it will bounce back soon...but I'm not holiding out too much hope...

I have a site that has been up for all of 92 days. It has a zero page rank and I've been passing sites with 2 & 3 PR every week.
So while I am afraid to completely discount PR, the results speak for themselves.
